The Irish government is to announce hundreds of millions of pounds in funding for north-south projects, including the A5 upgrade. Marie O'Brien, whose daughter Caoimhe was killed in a crash on the A5 in 2016, has welcomed the announcement. She tells North West Today if the upgrade had gone ahead when originally planned there is a 'good chance' it would have saved her daughter's life.
