A woman thinks she鈥檚 speaking to Visa鈥檚 fraud department and that her debit card鈥檚 been hacked. But she鈥檚 actually speaking to scammers from India, and they want her money.
A British woman thinks she鈥檚 speaking to Visa鈥檚 fraud department, which is telling her that her debit card has been hacked and an unauthorised transaction made. She鈥檚 actually speaking to scammers based in Jaipur, India, and the only thing they鈥檙e after is her money, but she won鈥檛 know that unless the Interceptors can get hold of her to warn her not to part with her cash.
Meanwhile, ethical hacker Jim Browning gives chapter and verse on who鈥檚 behind some of the scam call centres he鈥檚 hacked into, and how much money the people at the top are making from their crimes.
