Paris is full of airborne athletes in this session as gymnastics and BMX freestyle take place in the French capital, and also the fast and frenetic rugby sevens.

Great Britain won their first Olympic women鈥檚 team gymnastics medal in almost a century in Tokyo, but it will be a tough task repeating that feat in Paris where they will be without star performer Jessica Gadirova, who is recovering from a serious knee injury.

It鈥檚 the qualifying stage of the exciting men鈥檚 BMX freestyle, with British world champion Kieran Reilly aiming to book his place in the final. We鈥檙e also getting towards the business end of the women鈥檚 rugby sevens, where Great Britain will be hoping to be in the semi-finals for the third games in a row.

Also taking place is tennis, boxing and judo, in which British number one Lucy Renshall has medal hopes in the women鈥檚 -63kg category.
