She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a Golden Globe Award鈥 she鈥檚 an icon of the big and small screens鈥 she鈥檚 an author, a mother, a Dame and is truly the last of a generation.

Scott is a self-confessed Dynasty superfan, growing-up in the 80s following the antics of the Carringtons. Joan played one of the most formidable characters of the decade鈥 the shoulder-pad wearing, pond-fighting, fearsome Alexis Colby.

Joan tells Scott about her time in the show and how it was never meant to last as long as it did. Plus, they discuss the fight scenes and some of Alexis鈥 most iconic lines!

Her career began in the 1950s, being branded as 鈥淏ritain鈥檚 Bad Girl鈥 after shooting to fame appearing in the film adaptation of 鈥業 Believe In You鈥. She went on to star in a string of Hollywood movies throughout the 60s and 70s, before accepting the unexpected role of a lifetime in Dynasty.

Joan鈥檚 subsequent appearances span everything from Benidorm and Ab Fab, to panto and a one-woman stage show. She鈥檚 been a columnist since the early 90s and is a successful novelist, selling more than 50 million novels to date.
