An 'Under the Covers' Investigation
Holly Hamilton gets answers, rights wrongs and fights for consumers everywhere.
Listener Se谩n tells Holly about his experience buying a bed for his son. They already had a mattress so just bought the frame, which had storage accessed by lifting the mattress. When it was delivered they discovered the mattress they had was too light to keep the frame down, but when they contacted the shop they didn鈥檛 get the response they hoped for. Chief Inspector of Trading Standards in Northern Ireland, Damien Doherty, explains Se谩n鈥檚 consumer rights.
We also reveal what scams we need to watch out for in 2025.
And we hear about troubles Thomas & Siobhan had trying to get in touch with a parcel delivery company after one of their couriers accidentally damaged Siobhan鈥檚 car.
If your New Year鈥檚 resolution was to move home, or buy your first home, expert estate agent Mary-Lou Press has all you need to know to navigate the property ladder this year.
