Lara Sarkissian plays an hour of film music that has influenced her work as a producer and DJ.

"These are tracks from films I love that have influenced my work as an artist over the years 鈥� across both experimental music production and dancefloor DJ sets. There are a lot of immersive, poetic and haptic qualities that I鈥檝e found in both scores and soundtracks in films, that have influenced my approach in production for visual media or in my music."

Lara released her debut album Remnants in late 2024. It used digitised Armenian traditional instruments, as well as samples from old films to create 鈥渁 dreamy electronic opera鈥�.

Born and raised in San Francisco but now based in Los Angeles Lara is possibly best known as co-founder of the label and event series CLUB CHAI. However she has also scored soundtracks for film and video projects as well as A/V installations around the world,
