American singer-songwriter and pianist Tori Amos shares her ten track musical journey on this week's Tracks of My Years. Plus there's the quiz and another dive into the archive.
Tori Amos shares her musical journey through ten of her most influential and favourite songs in this week's Tracks of My Years.
During the course of an illustrious 35-year career, Tori has sold over 12 million records, performed thousands of concerts, been nominated for eight Grammys and won countless awards.
Achieving her breakthrough as a solo artist in the early 1990s, her first album was Little Earthquakes, released in 1992 to great critical acclaim. Her concerts, often feature the ‘Tori Amos Piano Bar Moment’, where she plays covers requested by her fans.
Tori recently released her new live album Diving Deep, recorded during her Ocean to Ocean tour, which spanned 93 dates across the globe. The album features tracks from across her iconic catalogue, including hits such as Cornflake Girl, Silent All These Years and God from her 1994 album Under The Pink.
Besides this, Tori is also working on her first children’s book called Tori and the Muses, which is due out March 4th. Her previous books include Piece by Piece and Resistance: A Songwriter’s Story of Hope, Change, and Courage.
