Throughout this week The Arts Mix is showcasing acts from Celtic Connections, with live performances from the 麻豆官网首页入口 at Pacific Quay in Glasgow.
Today Len is joined by vocal trio Little Acres, whose debut EP, Wait, will be launched at the festival, featuring songs exploring womanhood and celebrating vocal harmony. And fiddle player Laura Jane Wilkie tells Len about her debut album Vent, featuring her adaptations of waulking songs, the traditional songs sung by women in the Highlands and islands of Scotland while beating tweed.
