Legendary director film-maker Frank Marshall looks at the early history of both performers through their early partnerships of writing and performing together and their hugely successful solo careers.

The film features specially shot performances at the SNHU Arena in New Hampshire, early archive footage and film from the Troubadour reunion shows in 2007.
