This mixtape opens with 叠箩枚谤办's Overture from Selmasongs, before moving effortlessly on through piano music by Howells, violin virtuosity from Tchaikovsky and the intensity of Erbarme dich from JS Bach's St Matthew Passion. Next is Caroline Shaw's And the swallow, written in response to the Syrian refugee crisis, followed by the second movement of Florence Price's Violin Concerto No 1.
