Teachers at an East Dunbartonshire school are staging industrial action today claiming there's a "culture of abuse and violence from pupils". Members of the NASUWT union at Kirkintilloch High School aren't striking but will refuse to cover extra classes and won't take trips nor additional activities. They claim incidents of violence and swearing aren't being properly addressed.
