It's more than forty years since alcohol was outlawed in football stadiums across Scotland. The ban was put in place in the wake of 1980's Old Firm Cup Final which ended in a full-scale riot when rival fans invaded the pitch. But now Police Scotland has told the SPFL that they're "open to discussions" on the possibility of relaxing the restriction.
