Borders

Judith Ralston and Grado head to the Scottish Borders and test out three different escapes, including a 12th-century manor, a mansion built for a smuggler, and an off-grid alpine chalet.

Judith Ralston and Grado are on the road exploring the often-overlooked Scottish Borders. They sample delights in the coastal town of Eyemouth, including a stay in a mansion built for a notorious smuggler. They travel to Kelso for some R&R in a beautifully restored 12th-century manor before heading to Newcastleton to check out the local agricultural show and stay in an off-grid alpine chalet.
