Near Field Communications tech is currently used for contactless payment and oyster cards but it's now built into a lot of phones. One company's special NFC showroom is designed to show us the possible applications of the tech, plus a visit to a credit card factory where the chips are embedded into the cards. The team also visit Nanyang Technological University to look at the latest research coming out of this small but densely-packed city. Highlights include a low cost touch table that turns any surface into a touch device, and a toilet that converts waste into usable product.
