As the Queen's Baton is finally delivered to Celtic Park as a key part of the opening ceremony of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, this programme looks back at the final stages of the Baton's Relay as it spent 40 days travelling across Scotland before he Games started. Profiling just some of the 4000 batonbearers that had a chance to carry the baton through their communities, towns and villages, the show highlights the stories of devotion, dedication and community spirit that earned many the opportunity to be part of the Relay, which by the end he journey will have visited 70 of the nations and regions of the Commonwealth.
