Irish writer Anne Enright is an award-winning author known for her fearless wit. In 2007 she was catapulted to the international stage for winning the 2007 Man Booker Prize for her novel 'The Gathering', which is based at the funeral of a young man driven to suicide. Other notable works include 'The Forgotten Waltz' and 'The Portable Virgin'.
