Catch-up: 08 December

Will Whitney be strong enough to face the court? Archie has a big question for Janine, and Jean begs Bradley for help.

Whitney鈥檚 gone AWOL in the aftermath of Ricky鈥檚 revelations. Ryan finds a paralytic Whitney. She begs him to find Debra. Ricky and Pat assure Whitney that she鈥檚 a part of the family and still Tiffany鈥檚 sister.

Whitney relents that she鈥檒l come home, but only until Debra arrives, leaving them to worry about the implications for the trial. At court, Ryan looks daggers at Tony as the evidence is laid out. The family celebrate Whitney鈥檚 17th birthday, but a present from Tiffany causes her to crumble again. With no word from Whitney, a desolate Tony flushes his SIM card away.

With Ryan not keen to help get the loan, Janine resorts to her plans of seduction and presses Ian to have dinner with her. Archie tries to deter her, claiming to be concerned.

He points out that Ian still wants Jane and isn鈥檛 interested, but Janine鈥檚 dismissive. Archie later presents Janine with a ring, asking her to marry him, but she鈥檚 suspicious of his motives.

Ian arrives at Janine鈥檚 claiming he鈥檚 seen through her scheme to get the loan, but Janine feigns innocence and begins to ply him with wine. Ryan returns home wanting to have a heart-to-heart with Janine, but she rebuffs him.

Entering her bedroom she鈥檚 disgusted with herself as she looks over at Ian asleep in her bed.

Jean informs Stacey that Bradley鈥檚 back, but Stacey鈥檚 unenthusiastic. Becca insists that it鈥檚 too soon for Stacey to leave. Jean later asks Bradley to come with her to collect Stacey to ensure she returns home.

Having seen through Max鈥檚 ruse to swindle money from her, Rachel puts a stop on the cheque. Max admits to his financial strife and pleads for her help. Max returns home to find bailiffs in the house. He has until Friday to pay up.
