Surrounded by a forest of trunks and legs the newest addition to the Winds Family is gently awakening. The baby elephant born just hours before is the new daughter of the matriarch, Harmattan and she will need all the help and support of her mother if she is to survive the coming months. Just like a human baby, Breeze needs to suckle every couple of hours, with some help and reassurance from her mother she is able to stand, but finding the teat is yet another challenge. In the hot October weather, the family must drink which means a daily walk to the river. It's a long way for Breeze's wobbly little legs.
