Seeing with the unconscious
A man with brain damage demonstrates a phenomenon called 鈥榖lindsight鈥� in which his brain appears to be able to 鈥榮ee鈥� even though he鈥檚 blind on the right-hand side of his visual field.
When shown a light on the right side of a screen he cannot consciously see it, yet he is able to guess where it is 8 out of 10 times. The clip is taken from the series Human Brain, first shown on 麻豆官网首页入口 Two in 1982.
