A-Level results plus the best buildings in Northamptonshire

Richard Savage sits in as the county prepares for A-level results; we're at the University of Northampton and Northampton School for Boys, plus Richard asks for your top buildings in Northamptonshire.

As 18-year-olds in Northamptonshire await their A-level results, Richard looks at the options for people who may not get the news they had hoped for. Matt Hewitt interviews a headteacher in the county about his students' prospects and the future for the A-level qualification.

Also, the Campaign to Protect Rural England wants to know your favourite buildings in Northamptonshire - Richard takes your favourites and there are some real gems.

Mountaineer Alan Hinkes has tackled all of the 14 tallest mountains in the world but nothing, surely, can have prepared him for the challenge of Arbury Hill, Northamptonshire's highest peak at a death-defying, terrifying, 738 feet.

Alan will be taking it on, along with the highest points in every other English shire county - 37 in all, for charity. He tells Richard about the challenge.
