Falcon quarry

The slate quarries in Snowdonia provide ledges for coastal birds like pigeons and seagulls to nest on. The peregrine falcon is also here, attracted by the good hunting and nesting opportunities. Alan Titchmarsh watches as a peregrine attacks a buzzard that intrudes on its territory, despite being only half its size.
