Environmental campaigner,Tony Juniper, believes that government plans to sell off parts of woodlands owned by the Forestry Commission mean the public might lose out. Ministers are stressing that the sale to private owners is not incompatible with protecting the natural environment but conservationists are mounting a campaign opposing the plans.
