Millions of people who work or volunteer with children and vulnerable adults will no longer need criminal record checks, according to ministers. The government is unveiling its Freedom Bill later today, including proposals on stop and search powers and more control over CCTV. What do you think of this relaxation of rules? Good to lift the "atmosphere of suspicion" or potentially harmful?
Plus, it looks like the age of the autograph is over....many high street stores no longer even sell autograph books. These days, its so easy to have you photo taken with a celeb on a mobile, then to share it online with thousands of people. Do you have an autograph book? Which famous people have signed it? Can you actually make out what they've written?!
