The very real challenge of the Red Nose Desert Trek became ever more apparent on Tuesday as the celebrity trekkers reached the end of their second gruelling day. The team were worn out after trekking 27 km in scorching temperatures as high as 102 degrees Fahrenheit. The heat became too much for Strictly star Kara Tointon who broke down in tears after becoming exhausted and emotional. Scott Mills and Peter White also found the going incredibly tough during their walk in the barren Kaisut Desert, Northern Kenya, as they both struggled with growing blisters on their feet.
