Seven out of the 10 worst places for identity theft, outside of London, are in our area. Starting with the highest number of fraudulent claims through to the lowest the hotspots are Reading, Basingstoke, Windsor, Newbury, Slough, Maidenhead and Bracknell. The data's come from the credit check company Experian.
