Maura McKearney, mother of hunger striker Tommy McKearney
Maura McKearney, the mother of Maze prison hunger striker Tommy McKearney, explains to Gavin Esler why the seven men have gone on hunger strike to secure their five demands.
She states that she is prepared to accept the campaign continuing to the death and concludes by outlining her belief that these men are not common criminals, but rather educated and dedicated young men who have chosen not to accept the drastic situation in Northern Ireland.
