GLA Chairman denies exaggerating over child slaves

The Chairman of the Gangmasters' Licensing Authority denies he exaggerated when he referred to children found working in a Worcestershire field as slaves. Kempsey is one of Worcestershire's largest villages and it could be forced to expand even further under new plans. Talks are being held today in an attempt to avert a strike by teachers and some other public sector workers.
