First of a two-part story. Gary's assumed identity as a secret agent even fools the 1944 authorities. Tatty McDuff, a zealous MI5 agent deploys Gary on a secret mission to the Isle of Wight, in which he must assume the role of a decoy. However upon his arrival at the final destination, Gary quickly realises that he has mistakenly been sent to France.
