Julia watches a dormouse weigh-in.
Siccaridge Wood in Gloucestershire is one of only a few places in the UK where you can still find dormice. In the wood, trained and licensed volunteers regularly monitor the population of this incredibly rare little mammal. This week on Countryfile, Julia is lucky enough to follow Mick Peacy from Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and Ian White from the People's Trust for Endangered Species as they find, check and weigh some of the local dormice.
