SUPRISE AT VESTA
The 'Dawn' mision went into orbit round the asteroid Vesta in August 2011. Vesta is the solar systems second biggest asteroid and Dawn has discoverd some astounding things about this tiny world. The biggest shock so far is the enormous crater which almost fills the asteroid, with a central mountain bigger than Everest. Prof Chris Russell tells Dr Chris North about the suprises it has seen.
