Royal shrovetide football begins, increase in dementia diagnoses

This year's Shrovetide football has started in Ashbourne. The game between the Up'ards and Down'ards will last today and tomorrow. Our reporter Matt Barlow reports live from the match.
There's been an increase in the number of people being diagnosed with dementia, but the Alzheimers Society says there are still thousands who are slipping through the net.
Thirteen thousand people in Derby and Derbyshire have been diagnosed with some form of dementia, but the Alzheimers Society reckons that's only about 40 percent of the total who have the disease. We hear from Julie Jones, a Derby woman who has experienced three of her relatives living with dementia.
