It's emerged that police carried out strip searches on ten pupils at Derbyshires biggest secondary school. Officers were acting on information from the local community about drugs. Two of the group of year 11 students at John Port in Etwall were arrested and bailed.
Miss Derby 2012 has been crowned. 23 year old Pharmacy student Sunita Pall from Littleover was given the award last night. She'll now represent the city at the national finals of Miss England in June. Sunita is now back at college in Leicester.
