Is ADHD a real condition?

In Kent in the last three years there has been a 25% increase in the number of people being given the drug Ritalin to deal with their behaviour. The NHS says more parents are asking for it.

There are concerns that children as young as three are being given Ritalin, and that there may be serious and long term side-effects.

Is it a wonder drug? Did it work for you?
