The skills and qualities of a professional dancer
Following a short excerpt from the 2011 production of 'Alice's Adventures In Wonderland', we hear from three of the solo dancers. Eric Underwood, Zenaida Yanowsky and Steven McRae all describe various skills and qualities that are needed to succeed in the profession. Sheer determination and an overriding passion for dance are cited as most important in this most competitive of careers. The dancers give an insight into their earliest experiences of dance, the people who inspired them and the progression routes taken.
