Modern materials for a prototype car
John Jostins, designer of the Microcab, explains some of the materials used to construct the body and interior of the prototype eco-friendly car.
The team from the University of Birmingham made use of modern polymer and composite materials to give the car its ultra-lightweight design, and to keep the costs down.
