SEN Skills for Life - Knowing what belongs to you
A girl goes into a pizza parlour with her carer and sees someone eating a pizza that she likes. She starts to take a slice of the pizza from their plate. A question mark appears. Widgit symbols are used to highlight appropriate and inappropriate activity. The girl shows the man at the counter the pizza she wants. It's the same as the one the other customer was eating. She gets one of her own and is happy. The Widgit symbols can be used as pause points by teachers to highlight key issues for discussion.
