The quiet rural setting of the farm is used by dancers to stimulate a wide range of creative movements and interpretive dance. Chickens, goats and birds all have their own characters and the choreography evolves from an exaggerated interpretation of the animals' movements. We see the jerky to and fro of chickens, the twitching and tussling of animals in pens, and the grace and subtlety of a perched bird. The farm is also somewhere to play - puddles need jumping in and hay bales need leaping on. There are machines and mechanical movements, and spaces like gates and hay in a barn become places to make shapes in.
