Lateral inversion
Stella holds a tennis racket and a tennis ball in front of a mirror to demonstrate how lateral inversion works. The light travelling from the left side of an object is reflected straight back and appears to come from the right side of the image. In other words you see a 'mirror image' or lateral inversion of the original object.
