Laura feels estranged, as she is living five hours away from her family in North Wales. Further she is living without any support from Dylan's father though ideally she would like this to change. The baby's father is a friend who Laura slept with, which was a big mistake. He has made no effort to contact her since and the pregnancy ruined her friendship with him.
