The first paratroopers land
Acting Corporal Bob Stoodley, 22nd Independent Parachute Company is among the very first paratroopers to land. Bob is a pathfinder guiding in the 8th Parachute Battalion and the engineers whose job it was to destroy key strategic bridges over the River Dives.
