The consumer robotics company Anki has released a toy car which drives itself - and allows players to race it via a smartphone app.

Anki DRIVE is a new take on slot car games, as players can compete against each other or an artificial intelligence (AI) vehicle - and each car comes with its own virtual weapons.

Richard Taylor test drives the game and speaks to the co-founder of Anki, Mark Palatucci to ask whether the game is worth the price tag.
