Mali's music revival
A collection of musicians from around the world, known as Africa Express, has been to visit the Malian capital Bamako to provide a much-needed boost to the music industry.
The West African state is known for having some of the finest musicians and performers on the continent, but last year secular music was banned after Islamist militants took over the northern part of the country.
The militants have now been defeated and - as Helene Daouphars reports - a new crop of singers and bands is looking to put music firmly back on the agenda.
The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office has advised against all but essential travel to Bamako and against all travel to other parts of Mali.
