WHYS is discussing this issue in the light of Nanjala Nyabola's piece for Al Jazeera "Why do Western media get Africa wrong?" which has been shared worldwide. Nanjala argues there are "fundamental differences in how Western and African media cover African events." She will be joining us on today's edition of WHYS with a group of international journalists who cover African stories. Does the media have a responsibility to portray Africa in a positive light?
