A 17-year-old from Nottingham has reached the finals of the 麻豆官网首页入口 Young Musician of the Year competition. Pianist, Isata Kanneh-Mason, already counts Sir Elton John as a fan after the musical icon agreed to pay her tuition fees to the Royal Academy of Music. In this extract, the teenager talks to the 麻豆官网首页入口's Reya El-Salahi about being one of few young, black pianists in classical music.
