French-Canadian singer and actor Abbas Hasan has been named by MTV India and HELLO! Magazine as "the next big thing" in the Asian music and film scene.

He was born in Canada and moved to Paris as a toddler. One of his earliest musical experiences was performing for Disney, but over time he's branched out into drama, music and modelling.

Re-locating from France to Canada and Great Britain, he is now signed with Rishi Rich Productions, and is often dubbed the next Jay Sean,
