Rosanne Cash and the sound of the American South

As a young woman Rosanne Cash used to resist talking about her famous father, Johnny. It was only after she became a chart topping musician herself that she decided to travel to the American South in search of her own family and musical roots.

The result is a fusion of folk, gospel and blues in her latest album The River and The Thread. She came in to chat to us about it, but first, we took a lookback at her career so far.
