Vigils and prayers were held last week around the world to mark the third anniversary of the Syrian conflict.

It’s estimated that so far more than 100,000 Syrians have lost their lives in the escalating conflict, more than 2.5 million people have fled Syria, and a further 6.5 million are believed to be internally displaced within Syria.

It is one of the largest refugee exoduses in recent history. Vigils and prayers have been held around the world this week to mark the third anniversary of the Syrian conflict.
