Trekking to Bhutan’s 'Tiger's Nest' monastery
Bhutan's Taktshang Goemba or "Tiger's Nest" monastery clings to a granite cliff more than 3,000m above (9,800ft) sea level.
The Buddhist monastery is one of the holiest sites in the country and every Bhutanese person is expected to complete the pilgrimage at least once in their lifetime to ensure good luck, peace and harmony in their lives.
