Two hundred and thirty nine people were on board flight MH370, which went missing on 8 March while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

A search operation by numerous countries has so far failed to find any sign of the missing flight. Malaysian officials say they believe the plane was deliberately taken off course.

Satellite information has led to the search has recently focused on two corridors - one stretching to the north-west of the last known location in the Malacca Straits and one to the south-west.
