Schools around the country made their own news reports, and students featured on 麻豆官网首页入口 TV, radio and online.
More than 30,000 students from 1,000 schools took part.
In this extract Ruchi Tandon chats to young people from Nishkam High school in Birmingham, a multi-faith school with a Sikh ethos.
The school reporters spoke about what they鈥檇 made of the world of news, and gave their thoughts on what they feel the 麻豆官网首页入口 should do to engage more youngsters鈥�
